Te Mihi Steam Dump Manifold

Main steam dump for the Te Mihi Geothermal Power Station for Contact Energy. PFS used their advanced three dimensional modelling capability to produce the steam dump, which required the steam to flow through three manifolds of eight 300NB pipes, which fed into three two metre diameter fabricated pipes. These in turn split via an eccentric reducing "Y" piece into six 1500mm diameter fabricated pipes, which fed the six large silencers.
