Fonterra Boiler Auxiliary Installation

Fonterra's Heat Recovery Boiler failed which resulted in part of the plant having to shut down and PFS were brought in to urgently manufacture and install a temporary 20m stack for the relocated boilers. This was done by our site services team over a weekend. During this time some of Fonterra production at the plant was put on hold.

• Fonterra's Heat Recovery Boiler failed which resulted in part of the plant having to shut down and PFS were brought in to urgently manufacture and install a temporary 20m stack for the relocated boilers.
• This was done by our site services team over a weekend. During this time some of Fonterra production at the plant was put on hold.
• PFS manufactured and installed the new header and all interconnecting pipe work to two fire tube boilers.
• Pipe work and installation was completed within two weeks to enable Fonterra to operate at full production levels.
• Due to the expertise of our site services crew the manufacture of the temporary stack was expedited and loss for Fonterra was minimised.
