Detailed design, fabrication and installation of new silos was completed as part of a comprehensive new unloading, storage and dispatch facility build for Golden Bay Cement in Auckland.

- All silos were designed to store cement.
- 6 Silos 5m diameter and 10m high.
- 4 Silos 3.4m diameter and 9.5m high for blended cement.
- Penetrations and connections on the roof to take filters and plant to assist with pneumatic cement loading.
- Interior cone slide and vibration panels to stop cement bridging.
- Modified detail on external stiffeners to avoid power lines and for transport.
- Site rig and install.
PFS’s facilities and factory layout provided the ideal environment to deliver these silos efficiently and safely. With over 12 metres of lifting height and 50T of overhead gantry capacity, the project was executed with precision—another job well done by the PFS team.
