There was a bottleneck in the process plant producing peroxide. The solution was to increase the size of the two peroxide pressure vessels along with plenty of piping upgrades and access platforms. 

Key Features:

  • Detailed design of the 2 peroxide pressure vessels.
  • Procured duplex plate and domed ends and fabricated pressure vessels prior to the shut.
  • Procured and pre-spooled all piping and install as much as possible ahead of the shut
  • Fabricated skids for pumps and specialist plant and installed ahead of the shut.
  • Fabricated all structure to fit within existing structure to support the new vessels and flooring.
  • During the shut replaced old vessels with new.
  • Installed new heat exchangers.
  • Connected all pipe work.
  • In the oxidiser tower installed new trays, nozzles and supports.
  • New manways to the tower.
